Blackmore’s Night, the enchanting neo-Medieval folk group fronted by legendary Deep Purple and Rainbow guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and his wife, vocalist Candice Night, have officially unveiled plans for a limited six-date US tour in November 2025.
The journey will focus on the East Coast, beginning November 9th in Alexandria, Virginia, and drawing to a close on November 29th in Tarrytown, New York. Along the way, the band will cast their musical spell over audiences in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

For the uninitiated, Blackmore’s Night is a long-standing celebration of medieval and Renaissance-era music, blending traditional instruments with a folk-rock edge. The lineup features Ritchie Blackmore on guitars and assorted string instruments, with Candice Night providing lead vocals. Joining them are Bard David on keys and backing vocals, Scarlett Fiddler on violin, Lady Jessie on rhythm guitar and harmonies, Earl Grey handling bass and guitar duties, and percussion master Troubadour of Aberdeen.
In recent years, the group has marked milestone anniversaries for their debut album Shadow of the Moon and their acclaimed third release Fires at Midnight, offering fans special vinyl editions and select live performances. However, concert activity slowed, largely due to Blackmore’s health challenges — an aspect that adds a layer of poignancy to the upcoming tour.
Candice Night has been candid about Ritchie’s condition, sharing on the “Iron City Rocks” podcast that the guitarist faces three major health issues: a heart condition following a past heart attack, painful gout affecting both his feet and his playing finger, and longstanding back problems. "Everything kind of works together," Candice revealed, noting that these issues have made performing more physically demanding. This raises a question many fans might be asking — will this tour be one of the last times we see Ritchie on stage at this intensity?
True to their charitable spirit, Ritchie and Candice will once again partner with local no-kill animal shelters during this tour, inviting each community’s shelter or rescue group to set up donation tables at their concerts. This initiative keeps their commitment to animal welfare front and center, merging artistry with advocacy.
